As CEO, and later President, Tom led the company to staggering success, becoming the number one recommended brand in the UK two years running. After weathering the storm of COVID-19, during which time he forwent his salary to support his staff, Tom stepped down from Monzo and has since opened up about the affects running a successful bank had on his mental health. Tom is an advocate for better mental health support in both the tech industry and banking sector.
