Stephen Shedletzky is a pivotal member of the Simon Sinek Inc, having worked with the firm for almost a decade. As a lead igniter, Stephen is helping to support and guide the world’s leaders mindsets, ensuring that they put people first over profits. Feeling overwhelmed by his prior corporate career, Stephen joined the Simon Sinek enterprise on a journey for a more inspirational and fulfilled working world and is now passionate about people’s strengths and helping them to use such strengths. Best known for his work with the Simon Sinek enterprise, Stephen is currently the Head of Brand Experience and a Lead Igniter for Simon Sinek Inc. In this role, he works to support team members to share the message and mission of the Simon Sinek Inc, whilst also ensuring that the partnerships and communications of the brand reflect the values of Simon’s enterprise. He has also formerly been the Head of Staff, Head of Engagement, Co-Host, Co-Producer and Movement Correspondent for Simon Sinek Inc.
Having studied in Health Sciences at The University of Western Ontario, Stephen then went on to train at the Co-Active Training Institute in Co-Active Coaching and Leadership. Learning the art of coaching and leading, Stephen then went on to obtain an Honours in Business Administration at the Ivey Business School. He then began his career as an intern at Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions, gaining invaluable experience of strategic direction and business growth. He later went on to become a Teaching Assistant at the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Business Analyst at Suncor.
Stephen has also been a Consultant for People & Organisation Change for Ernst & Young, a CTI Ambassador Team member for the Co-Active Training Institute, a Leadership Facilitator for Inspiration.ca and a Strategic Advisor for The Mental Gym before he joined Simon Sinek. First joining Simon Sinek as the co-host of the Start With Why podcast and answering fan mail, Stephen has worked his way up the company to become one of Simon’s leading igniters.
