Having read Simon Sinek’s ‘Start With Why’ Rich joined the author and offered a fresh perspective to Simon’s approach in accelerating human performance, supported by his time spent leading teams on deployment. Currently, Rich works as a keynote speaker, sharing his evidenced advice on finding a purpose and honing high performance as an optimist.
With such an extensive career history, Rich has developed a reputation for his comprehensive talks, spanning a range of essential topics for individuals and teams. Sought after by corporate clients wanting to transform the capabilities of their business, Rich not only teaches his audiences how to hone the required qualities but why, leading to a greater understanding and more successful implementation. Rich’s content is also applicable for managing stress, improving innovation and maintaining necessary behaviours long term.
Prior to becoming an acclaimed speaker, Rich spent 20 years as a Navy Officer, completing over 13 deployments in critical environments. Being involved in the SEAL selection process allowed Rich to analyse the qualities which make great leaders, and greater teammates, especially in intense situations, an understanding he has carried through into his recent corporate work. Developing the first ‘Mind Gym’ in the Forces, Rich focuses on the relationship between mental resilience and high performance, something he expands upon in his debut book ‘The Attributes’.
