Stacey Dooley

Social advocate, presenter and media personality, Stacey Dooley, shot to fame after featuring in Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts in 2008. Her documentaries on social issues have become a staple of British television, discussing such topics as climate change, child labour and the migrant crisis. Stacey has since become a popular media personality, taking to the Strictly Come Dancing stage in 2018, winning the show. Recent presenting roles include Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star, a talent show dedicated to all things beauty. Starting in 2008, she journeyed to India where she took part in Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts, a show that highlighted the dangers of fast-fashion and overseas labour. Having found great success on the programme, Stacey presented Stacey Dooley Investigates only a year later, a two-part special about child soldiers in Congo and sex trafficking in Cambodia. From Tourism and the Truth: Stacey Dooley Investigates to Show Me What You're Made Of, My Hometown Fanatics to Stacey Dooley in the USA, her documentaries have been widely celebrated for their sensitivity and understanding of such challenging topics. Expanding her reach, Stacey later took part in Celebrities on the NHS Front-line and Strictly Come Dancing. She also published her Sunday Times Bestseller, Stacey Dooley, On the Front Line with the Women Who Fight Back in 2018, which tackled such subjects as domestic violence and gender inequality.

In 2019, she was appointed Grazia's new contributing editor for Investigations, followed by the announcement of her next documentaries, The Nine To Five With Stacey Dooley, Stacey Meets the IS Brides, and Stacey Dooley, Face to Face with The Bounty Hunters. In 2018, Stacey's lifelong dedication to highlighting social injustices earned her an MBE at the Birthday Honours. In the same year, her show, Stacey Dooley: Face To Face With ISIS, was awarded the 2018 Popular Features Award at the One World Media Awards. In 2012, and later in 2015, Stacey was a member of the judging panel for The Observer Ethical Awards.
