Reese Witherspoon is an Academy Award-winning actress and producer who is consistently ranked among the world’s highest-paid actresses. Exceptionally talented, she began acting at an early age making her film debut in The Man In The Moon in 1991. She gained critical acclaim in 2005 and won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her exquisite portrayal of June Carter Cash in Walk the Line. After a slow few years, Reese made an extraordinary career comeback in the role of Cheryl Strayed in the film Wild which she also produced, winning her second nomination for Best Actress at the Academy Awards. Most of her recent acting and production work has been in television series, often literary adaptations with female-led roles. Through her media company Hello Sunshine, alongside HBO, Apple TV+ and Hulu Reese has been involved in Big Little Lies, The Morning Show and Little Fires Everywhere.
Outside her phenomenal acting career, Reese recorded a cover of Frank and Nancy Sinatra’s duet Somethin Stupid with Michael Bublé in 2013 for his album To Be Loved. She owns the clothing company Draper James and has been the global ambassador of Avon Products. Reese also sits on the board of the Children's Defense Fund and is an advocate for a number of women’s and children’s charities. Furthermore, Reese has been named by Time magazine as One of the 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2006 and 2015.
