Rachael Twumasi-Corson is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, fractional executive, and speaker. With a diverse background in law, medical anthropology, and trichology, Rachael’s career has been filled with many roles and endeavours. After graduating from the University of Birmingham, Rachael emerged with a degree in Law and her own business. She founded Afrocenchix whilst at university and worked as the CEO for over 13 years before selling it. During this time, Rachael grew her business into a thriving brand, securing venture capital and significant partnerships. It was even the first black British hair brand to launch in Selfridges, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett and Whole Foods UK. Over these years Rachael also furthered her education at the Institute of Trichologists and earned a MSc in Medical Anthropology from UCL.
Later in her career, Rachael transitioned to working as a consultant and fractional executive. Within these roles she would use her experience and knowledge to advise SMEs and non-profits. She has been actively involved as a board trustee and director for various organisations, including Mensa International, Stage One New Producers, and LIHA Beauty. Rachael has also been involved in many publications, as well as writing a Substack newsletter for over 30k readers. As the host of the Mumdem podcast, Rachael often discusses topics of motherhood and interviews other mums to share their experiences and offer advice and support.
