Eventually, he became president of Baptist Hospital in 1996, where he led the organisation to the top 1 percent of hospitals nationwide, in patient and employee satisfaction.
Acknowledging his success, numerous healthcare organisations began requesting assistance, leading to the formation of Studer Group. In the 15-years Quint owned the company, he helped over 1000 healthcare organisations move towards higher performance, grew the company to 250 employees and won multiple awards, including the 2010 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
Part of Quint’s legacy in healthcare was connecting patient care with customer service. For his contribution to healthcare, Becker’s Hospital Review recognised him as one of the 40 smartest people in healthcare. The only ever healthcare leader, to win the Master of Business Inc magazine award, Quint was chosen twice by Modern Healthcare as one of the Most Powerful People in Healthcare.
Selling Studer Group in 2015 to focus on Studer Community Institute, Quint utilised his leadership skills and passion for community development to revitalise Pensacola. The outcome of his work was a 34% growth in property values within 5 years and a thriving downtown. Documenting his success in his 2018 book, Building a Vibrant Community, Quint has won several awards for this initiative.
