Prafull Billore is a famed Indian entrepreneur, widely known as India’s most famous Chai Wala. After dropping out of his studies for an MBA, Prafull honed his entrepreneurial vision and started a tea stall which soon grew into the national success it is today- MBA Chai Wala. Dropping out of MBA studies at Ask University, Prafull worked as a Management Trainee at McDonald’s whilst contemplating beginning his tea enterprise. Aged just 20, Prafull began running his tea stall at night for a couple of hours, making 300 rupees on his first day of sales. Taking into consideration his sales strategy, Prafull began talking to people in English, immediately grabbing their attention and gradually gaining more and more sales. Before long, Prafull decided to make selling chai his full-time business, founding MBA Chai Wala India in 2017. Shortly after, Prafull began connecting people by allowing them to write job vacancies on his stall and leave phone numbers to help others get jobs.

In 2017, Prafull also founded the MBA Chai Wala Academy, an organisation dedicated to educating people online with courses in various industries and fields. Alongside his chai business, Praful has organised many events, including free chai for singles on Valentines Day, fundraisers for cancer patients, poetry and singing nights and fundraisers for Kerala flood relief. He has also been featured on the likes of CNN, the BBC, CNBC, Times Now and many other leading media distributors. A social activist, angel investor and content creator, Prafull has recently become a Chief Evangelist for Youngovator. Prafull is also expanding his MBA Chai Wala business to include a tea bag range for tea lovers.
