Paul Mungeam

Paul ‘Mungo’ Mungeam is a cameraman specialising in adventure television. Throughout his career, Paul has been fortunate to travel the globe with some of the biggest stars. Having worked in some of the most extreme environments with his camera work, there is nothing Paul can’t face. 

Over the past two decades, Paul has travelled worldwide with his camera, visiting over 90 countries. He has worked for major broadcasting providers, such include the BBC, Channel 4, Amazon Prime, Discovery, National Geographic, Netflix and ITV.  Whilst working for those broadcasters Paul has filmed some of the biggest celebrities such as Kate Winslet, Davina McCall, Simon Cowell, Ben Stiller and Bear Grylls. 

His ventures as a cameraman have seen Paul experience everything from luxury to some of the most dangerous environments on Earth. He has filmed for shows such as Pop Idol, The Apprentice, Lonely Planet and X-Factor, demonstrating a diverse filming career. Not only has Paul spent time behind the camera he has also spent time in front of the camera, hosting his own tv series titled Expedition Mungo for the Discovery Channel. 

In addition to his work behind the camera, Paul is also a published author. He has published two self-written books that document what he has experienced in his career as a cameraman, they are titled MUNGO- The Cameraman and MUNGO- Living The Dream. Paul has experienced some of the most extraordinary situations, as well as meeting many incredible people in his career giving him quality content to share in after-dinner tales.
