Adam Henson

Farmer and television presenter Adam Henson is one of the most prolific and experienced countryside experts currently working on British TV, with a long family history in both agriculture and television production, Adam is known by many for his appearance on the BBC series, Countryfile. Before becoming a television presenter, Adam spent several years travelling the world and working on various agricultural projects; he has experience working with livestock in Australia, on a kiwi plantation in New Zealand, planting tea in Queensland and studying marine life in the Great Barrier Reef.

Since returning to the UK, Adam Henson has established himself as arguably the most well respected specialist agricultural TV presenter in the country. Often presenting from the farm he grew up on, where his father Joe, also a television presenter, lived and worked throughout his childhood, Adam now runs both Bemborough Farm and the Costwold Farm Park which amasses more than 70,000 visitors a year.

Adam Henson is probably most well-known for his work as a television presenter on the aforementioned Countryfile, however he has also worked as a host and television presenter for Summer Diaries, Gardener’s World and Inside Out. Thanks to his extensive farming knowledge Adam has also established a notable career outside his work as a television presenter, appearing on the BBC Radio 4 programmes Farming Today and Lambing Live. Adam also appears as an after dinner speaker at specialist farming conferences where he uses the skills gained from his work as a television presenter to inform and entertain audiences at after dinner speaker conferences across the UK.
