Paul Coll

Paul Coll is a talented squash player, whose highest world ranking has seen him sit at No.4 in the world. Achieving countless wins, Paul has claimed 12 PSA World Tour titles and been the New Zealand Nation Champion an impressive three times. Nicknamed ‘superman’ in his sport, Paul is famed for his stamina and speed in squash and is now booked as a speaker for a range of events, focussing on topics of training, motivation and PSA Tour experiences.

Throughout his life, Paul has had a strong interest in sports and has played everything from squash and golf to basketball, rugby and hockey. Finding his calling in squash, Paul’s first major selection saw him play in the New Zealand Junior Worlds. Proving his excellence as a player, Paul then went on to compete in the World Junior Team and placed 6th in the competition in Ecuador. From that point on, Paul became a regular star on the PSA Tour and has also begun representing New Zealand at events such as the 2018 Commonwealth Games- claiming a Silver and Bronze Commonwealth Games medal.

Paul established his reputation after playing in the Australian Open and winning the competition from his unseeded place. He has also won the Channel VAS, a win that propelled him into the World Top 20. Today, Paul is ranked at No.4 in the world, has claimed a Silver World Championship Medal and became only the fourth person from New Zealand to reach the World Top 10 ranking. He has also claimed two World Mixed Doubles Gold medals and won the 2019 Open De Frances Nantes. Paul has also been recognised as one of the Top Ten Oceanian Male Squash Players in 2018 and one of the Top Ten New Zealand Male Squash Players in 2019. Most recently, in August 2021, Paul won the Allam British Open 2021.
