Neal Stephenson

Neal Stephenson is a famed speculative fiction author, widely known for coining the term ‘Metaverse’ in his book ‘Snow Crash’. Neal’s most recent novel is titled ‘Termination Shock’, written on the subject of solar geoengineering and climate fiction. He is also famed for writing titles including ‘Quicksilver’, ‘System of the World’, ‘Reamde’, ‘The Mongoliad’, ‘Fall or, Dodge in Hell’, ‘The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O’ and ‘Seveneves’. His books have earned him critical acclaim throughout the years, in particular being the recipient twice of a Hugo Award and five times of a Locus SF Award. He has also been recognised as a No.1 New York Times Bestseller and claimed the British Science Fiction Association Award. Outside of writing, Neal has also worked as part of the Technical Staff of Blue Origin, a company owned by Jeff Bezos.
