Molly Caudery

Molly Caudery is a talented athlete who competes in the pole vault for Great Britain, having recently become the World Indoor Champion after claiming Gold at the 2024 Glasgow World Indoor Championships. Also the holder of the British National Record for the Women’s Pole Vault, with an impressive height of 4.92m, Molly is a truly inspirational sportswoman. Discovering a talent for the pole vault at a young age, Molly earned her first medal when she claimed Silver at the 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships. From then on, Molly has stamped her authority in the sport, having since claimed the British Junior Pole Vault Record with a height of 4.53m, Silver at the 2021 European Athletics U23 Championships and Silver at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. She has also claimed Gold at the 2023 British Championships, Gold at the 2024 Diamond League and Gold at the Golden Spike Ostrava on the 2024 World Athletics Continental Tour. Also in 2024, Molly achieved one of her most significant wins – Gold in the Pole Vault at the 2024 World Championships.

Other successes of Molly’s include Bronze at the 2024 European Championships and Gold at the 2024 British Athletics Championships. At the British Athletics Championships, Molly’s vault of 4.83m confirmed her place to compete for Team GB at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Unfortunately, at the Paris Olympic Games, Molly did not qualify for the final, unfortunately unable to clear the opening height of 4.55m. Molly also suffered an injury to her calf at the Olympic Games, but despite such adversity has not let it spoil the excitement of her Olympic Games debut.
