Returning to compete at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Moe and his team claimed Olympic gold in the Coxless Four. Moe also qualified to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, which was unfortunately postponed due to Covid-19. As the games went underway in 2021, Moe appeared as one of Team GB’s opening ceremony flag bearers, making headlines as the first Muslim flag bearer.
A truly talented sportsman, Moe was honoured with the appointment of MBE for Services to Rowing in 2017.
