Max Whitlock

Five-time Olympic medallist and six-time World medallist, Max Whitlock is one of the most successful athletes Great Britain has ever produced. The Olympic medallist became Britain's first ever gold medallist in artistic gymnastics following his brilliance in both the men's floor and pommel horse exercises at the 2016 Olympics. The winner of eleven medals and four titles in the Olympics and World Championships, Max Whitlock, the most successful gymnast in the nation's history is available to hire as an after-dinner speaker for events, dinners and functions across the UK to motivate and inspire! Bursting onto the global gymnastics stage at the London 2012 Olympics, Whitlock made his first appearance on the podium winning a bronze medal on the pommel horse before going one better a year later at the World Championships. Becoming the first British man to win a World Championship gold medal in 2015, a year earlier Max Whitlock matched Daniel Keatings for the best performance in the all-around competition at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. A career-defining competition in life came in 2016 where Max Whitlock made the Olympics his own. First winning bronze in the all-around gymnastics event, the first gymnastics Olympic medal for 108 years, just days later Whitlock secured global supremacy in the Men's Floor and Men's Pommel Horse events as he won gold and in doing so became the country's most successful Olympic gymnast and first-ever Olympic Champion in gymnastics. Max has also become the first British gymnast to defend a world title at the 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. He also contributed to the 2018 Commonwealth gymnastics group who won gold in the team event and taken gold at the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, postponed by a year due to Covid-19, Max made history as the first Olympian in 30 years to defend the pommel horse title and claimed Olympic Gold in the Men's Pommel Horse. His success was rewarded in 2022 as he received an OBE after receiving an MBE in 2017
