Martina Witter is an accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, the Director of the award-winning Rapha Therapy & Training Services and the Founder of Black Mental Wealth in a truly illustrious career which has spanned over two decades. Martina is an expert at helping people overcome the emotional struggles that are preventing them from becoming the best version of themselves. When hired as a keynote speaker Martina draws on her life experiences struggling with depression, bereavement, divorce, stress and rejection to help others who are suffering with similar emotions to get out of their rut and live life to its full.
Having first studied psychology during her A-levels, Martina developed a passion for the subject and then went on to study BSc Psychology at the University of Manchester. To deepen her knowledge of psychology, at the University of Manchester, Martina gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Care Mental Practice, Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive & Behavioural Psychotherapies. Martina has held many specialised roles throughout her career, most notably as a High-Intensity Therapist, Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and Locum CBT Therapist for the NHS, the Non-Executive Director for Manchester Community Spirt, Sessional Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for Priory Group and a Digital Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for Leso Digital Health.
As an exceptional orator, Martina engages her audience so she can effectively transmit powerful messages which will encourage them to strive for their dreams. Throughout her career, Martina has helped children and adults alike to increase their performance and productivity. As a testament to her contributions to her field, Martina has been featured in the likes of the Financial Times, The Voice, Thrive Global, Metro, HuffPost and BBC Radio Manchester.
