Motorsports speaker and professional racer Mark Webber has first-hand experience of the determination, ambition and rigorous training required to be a successful race car driver. Following a successful racing career, in his native Australia, Mark Webber moved to the UK at the start of the new century and, following a test drive for Benetton, Webber made his Formula 1 debut driving for Minardi in 2002.
Working for Jaguar and Williams F1 Webber achieved his first Formula 1 win in 2009 driving for Red Bull Racing; establishing himself as a champion driver and fascinating motorsports speaker. Mark Webber retired from Formula 1 at the end of 2013 and moved exclusively to sports car racing.
Now turning his determination, ambition and training regime to the world of endurance racing, Mark has been able to use his personal philosophy to push both himself and his cars to their absolute limits. As a lifestyle choice and an integral part of his work as a sports speaker Mark Webber cites hard work and determination as the key to success: “We’ll get what we deserve… You’ve just got to go out and do it”.
