Mark Noon is a former US Army lab technician with over 20 years’ service in several leadership roles, as well as a renowned leadership speaker and author. Working for organisations such as Studer Group and Leadership10, he has vast speaking experience and uses his engagement to educate organisations and individuals on leadership and ways to take it to the next level. He also speaks to those in health care about patient experiences and ways to create better practices.
He graduated with a BS in Medical Technology from Wayland Baptist University before joining the US military. He started his military career as a lab technician and worked his way up being commissioned as an officer and receiving a promotion to a management position. Of his 20 years in the military, he spent over 12 of them as a lab director. His influence was key in shaping the culture, leadership, and direction of the armed forces medical community. He also carried out nine assignments in seven states, as well as a tour of duty in the Middle East. Whilst serving he also completed an MA in Human Resource Management from Webster University. Mark retired from the military in 2012 having climbed to the rank of Major.
Upon leaving the military, Mark put his medical and leadership experience to use and became a Professional Speaker at Studer Group. This role saw him work with healthcare providers across the globe to create a culture that encourages accountability, innovation and delivers high-quality patient experiences. Mark also wrote Set Up: Timeless Leadership Skills For Your Success, while working at Studer Group. He spent eight years in that role before becoming a Professional Speaker, Executive Coach and Developer of Leaders at Leadership10. At Leadership10 his role is to help leaders improve in their roles to help them better motivate, lead, and engage with others around them. In his various speaking roles, he has spoken to over 30,000 people at over 260 organisations.
