Timothy Bradshaw is on a mission to ensure that organisations are able to be operationally effective, using his previous experience in the military to empower success. A former Covert Human Intelligence Officer, Tim is now working passionately as a mental health advocate raising awareness of important topics such as PTSD, anxiety and depression alongside his work as the Director of Operations for Sandstone Communications. Tim is now also booked as a speaker for corporate events, sharing his expertise from time in the forces on topics such as overcoming adversity, mental health, resilience, decision making and more.
Currently the Director of Operations for Sandstone Communications, Tim is responsible for helping clients to react to changes and become resilient to ultimately be as operationally effective as possible. Using life lessons he collected in the armed forces, Tim advises clients in effective negotiation skills, management of confrontational scenarios and collaborative behaviour. A strong believer in the Because I Can attitude, Tim inspires all that with focus and resilience you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
Before his days of the military, Tim spent time as a transatlantic yachtsman sailing across the Atlantic Ocean battling life or death decisions. Such experiences meant he developed a ‘can do’ attitude and being resilient in the face of adversity. Becoming a Covert Human Intelligence Officer in 1995, Tim spent 17 years orchestrating complex intelligence operations involving crisis management and combatting terrorist activities. Such experiences as an intelligence officer allowed Tim to build a calm and perceptive style of leadership, something that he is able to share as a speaker.
Tim has also experienced his fair share of adventure, attempting to complete a summit of Mount Everest to raise awareness of PTSD and mental health issues. A long term sufferer of anxiety and depression, Tim wanted to create a better understanding of the adversity that has troubled him. Unfortunately, Tim and his team were unable to reach the summit of Mount Everest as the largest earthquakes to ever hit Nepal and Tibet struck during their endeavour. Despite not reaching the summit, Tim and his team were able to raise awareness for mental health issues and that it is ok to ask for help.
Having completed a 70.3 Ironman, the L'Etape Du Tour, summited the Matterhorn, the 3 Peaks Challenge, the Cresta Run, rode across the empty quarter and 7 triathlons in one weekend, Timothy knows what it takes to be mentally resilient and expressing the Because I Can attitude. Now booked as a speaker for corporate events, Tim uses his previous experiences to inspire his audiences covering topics such as mental health in high-performance teams, overcoming adversity, decision making under pressure and using intelligence not information. When looking for a speaker who will help to achieve goals and effective operation, Tim Bradshaw is the perfect choice for events.

"I'd like to highlight how Scottish Engineering's members have benefitted from Tim engaging with the organisation, most recently with a webinar considering Crisis Management, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure; a skillset which has never been more relevant. Amongst the ringing endorsements we received from members, the standout ones were those stating that this was the first online presentation in the last two months where they had not only stayed awake but were fully absorbed by it throughout" - Paul, Chief Executive, Scottish Engineering
"Tim always steps up in moments of crisis and tirelessly delivers performances that make a positive impact on our business. He has worked with us successfully for many years and we consider him very much part of our family. If you ask any Retail Manager in our region, they will tell you 'Intelligence not Information'." - Pablo, Head of Network Development and Training, Mercedes- Benz Cars Middle East
"I have worked with Tim on a number of occasions and always find him to be great at listening to my requirements and ensuring that the sessions delivered meet my needs. I have been impressed with how Time and the team at Sandstone have really risen to the challenges of COVID and have delivered some great new webinars that other providers haven't done whilst staying cost effective. It is great that those who attend the sessions always remark on the content and way in which Tim brings his own experience to the sessions to make them even more valuable" - Robin, Senior Talent Development Business Partner, Taylor Wessing
"Tim worked with us on a couple of occasions with quite varied objectives, but on both counts provided invaluable insight and opinion. With the leadership team exercise, it was nice to see our people being placed outside their comfort zone. Tim and I share a military background- although mine is nowhere as illustrious as his. Teamwork, is teamwork, however, yet it's not always that evident within civilian life- no lives are at stake. From our exercises, I will always relay certain aspects of his training to our everyday experiences. Tim also delivered invaluable training with regards to negotiation and the confidence to be able to deliver it. I would highly recommend him and his team to any company which wishes to move to true value based conversations" - Sean-Paul, Technology Consultant

If you want your organisation to develop strong leadership skills, please speak to Tim" - Adrian, Commercial Director
"Tim's training is refreshing, relevant and memorable. Tim understand the importance of communication in business and engages individuals in a way which allows them to learn practical techniques quickly.
