Louis Alexander is a record-breaking explorer and motivational speaker who travels the world sharing his jaw-dropping adventures. As one of the world’s youngest professional adventurers and a three-time world record holder, he recently completed a highly successful speaking tour of Singapore, where he spoke at schools and embassies and is set to do the same in Dubai! Despite his age, Louis has already completed several difficult challenges and began by climbing the infamous Mount Kilimanjaro in memory of his grandfather in 2019. Louis kept the high intensity in 2022, completing 17 marathons in 17 consecutive days, in honour of the 17 years his grandfather had lived with dementia. Over the next year, he would climb Mont Blanc & Gran Paradiso in the Alps, complete the Hellespont Swim, from Europe to Asia and climb the Atlas Mountains. Between 2023 and 2024, Louis achieved Guinness World Records as the first and only person in history to both run marathons on all Seven Continents and swim marathon distances across all Seven Seas. The records were presented live to Louis on Heart Breakfast.
As a speaker, Louis encourages audiences of all ages and backgrounds to embrace adventure and follow their curiosity. In 2024, he was named Adventurer of the Month in the National Geographic Traveller Magazine. As a passionate dementia advocate, Louis also uses his platform to raise funds for dementia research, diagnosis and care. Following his marathon in Antarctica, Louis wrote a letter to the Prime Minister and secured his commitment to improve national dementia diagnostic statistics. His current mission is to achieve 10 world records and raise over £1 million for dementia research by the age of 30.
