The already iconic musical was only enhanced by Larry’s exquisite presence. Larry also has particular affinity for sports and has played in the Walking Football tournament at the age of 75.
Starring in 4 Carry On movies, namely Carry On Teacher, Carry On Behind, Carry On England and Carry On Emmannuelle, Larry has featured in a slew of movies and TV shows. Most notably Larry can be seen in Coronation Street’s pilot episode, Dixon of Dock Green, and EastEnders. Playing Sergeant Alec Peters for 227 episodes of The Bill, Larry was a beloved character on the multi award-winning series. Larry chronicles experiences from his 70 year long career in show business in his book “Oh, What a Lovely Memoir!”, released in 2023.
Recently Larry has starred in shows such as BBC’s Twirlywoos and The Lives of Frankie Abbott.
