
Kim Blue is a leading human resource professional, currently working as the Chief People Officer of OpenExchange. Having formerly worked for the likes of Microsoft and ESPN, Kim has helped to develop and oversee credible organisations’ HR policies. With over 15 years of experience in developing human resources strategy, Kim is now booked as a speaker for a range of corporate and public events covering topics such as change management, organisational development, diversity, inclusion and the future of work.
After an education in Organisation Development at the Queens University of Charlotte, Kim began her working career as an Employee Wellness Representative for ESPN. In this role, Kim was responsible for conducting wellness and fitness classes, supporting over 7000 ESPN employees as an HR official. She later went on to become an HR Business Partner in the Audio and Technology divisions of the company, before achieving the position of Senior HR Business Partner for ESPN. After almost 13 successful years working for ESPN, Kim moved on to become the Senior HR Manager of the US East Region for Microsoft.
Since then, Kim has worked as the Global Head of People Experience Partners for Zoom, as an Executive Board Member of The Black in HR and as an Official Member of the Forbes Human Resources Council. Today, Kim shares her HR expertise as the Chief People Officer for OpenExchange, and also acts as a People Strategist – leading and mentoring clients with a growth mindset. Having achieved a Project Management Essential Certified status, Kim has been recognised for her talents with being named as one of the Top 10 Diverse Leaders at the 2021 Tech Inclusion Conference.
