Josh Navidi is a Welsh rugby union player who holds the position of both blindside and openside flanker for the Cardiff Blues and the Welsh national team. Dividing his time to also become an after dinner speaker, Navidi is known to offer the most unique yet effective teamwork and leadership skills to audiences of all varieties from corporate to sports organisations.
During the early years of his career, Josh played for teams such as Bridgend Athletic, Glamorgan Wanderers and Cardiff RFC. His impressive style of play meant that he went on to captain the Welsh Under 20’s team before joining the Cardiff Blues in 2010.
2013 marked a highly successful year for Navidi as he played for Wales in the Six Nations Championship and was also selected to make his international debut on the 2013 tour of Japan. A testament to his sportsmanship, he was also voted the Player’s Player of the Year in 2013.
Most recently, Josh offered his contributions to the Welsh national team as a squad member for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. He bought his tactical and innovative play to four games within the tournament and even captained the team in a warm-up match.
An incredibly insightful and dynamic after dinner speaker, Josh Navidi can bring an abundance of wisdom and hilarious anecdotes to entertain audiences even with little to no interest in sport.
