Jon Kabat-Zinn is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Founder of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Clinic. Jon believes that mindfulness is not a mental trick or fad but is a basic human necessity that is required to live an enriched life. Jon has authored 15 books that have been translated into 45 languages, making him a globally recognised figure in the mindfulness and meditation space. He is also the author of “Full Catastrophe Living”, “Falling Awake”, “Arriving at Your Own Door: 108 Lessons in Mindfulness” and “The Healing Power of Mindfulness”. His latest book “Mindfulness Meditation for Pain Relief” was published in 2023. Jon’s work has helped people all over the world elevate their lives.
Jon studied Molecular Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has been a Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School since 1979. Revolutionising the mindfulness industry, Jon’s work has been incorporated into a variety of fields including medicine, healthcare, neuroscience, business, law, technology, and sports.
