John Whaite

John Whaite is widely known for his talents as a baker, having risen to fame after he won the third series of The Great British Bake Off. Since finding fame on the programme, John has completed a Diploma in Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in London and opened the John Whaite Kitchen Cookery School. Also a staple presenter across British television screens, John is now available to hire as a speaker or event host for a range of corporate and public events, guaranteed to up the star appeal of your next event.

In 2012, John applied to compete on the much-loved TV programme The Great British Bake Off. Joined by fellow competitors, he began impressing judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood from the very start. Baking dishes such as a Toffee Apple, Orange & Cranberry Upside Down Cake and an Italian Sausage and Roasted Vegetable Pithivier, John was named Star Baker and ultimately won the competition. Also since winning GBBO, John has authored several cookbooks including the titles Perfect Plates in 5 Ingredients, Comfort: Food to Soothe the Soul, John Whaite’s Bakes at Home, A Flash in the Pan and John Whaite’s Bakes. He has also been the co-presenter and judge on Chopping Block, starring alongside cooking legend Rosemary Shrager. He has also written for the likes of The Daily Telegraph and Heat magazine in their Hot John column. Most recently, in 2021, it was announced that John would take part in Strictly Come Dancing in the first male same-sex couple. One year after Nicola Adams took part as the first female same-sex couple, John is making mainstream TV more inclusive and diverse.

With a highly successful career as a baker and TV personality to his name, John is now a popular addition as a speaker or host at a range of corporate and public events.
