Jay Tuck

Jay Tuck, a New York-born journalist, launched his career with the US Department of the Treasury in Washington DC and CBS News in New York. He later moved on to a distinguished career in international news. In Germany, he produced over 500 investigative segments for network television, including NDR-Panorama and WDR-Monitor. He served as a combat correspondent on the battlefields of Kuwait, Iraq and Ukraine, as well as on the aircraft carrier USS Truman in wartime - also holding military clearances in eight countries. Jay Tuck writes for Focus, Le Point, Stern, Welt, Time Magazine and Die Zeit. He was employed for many years as Executive News Director at ARD and also holds security clearances in eight countries.

Jay is also the author of several acclaimed books on defence. His investigative book on Russian espionage, High-Tech Espionage (St. Martin’s Press, New York) was published in fourteen countries. His book on artificial intelligence, Evolution Without Us (Plassen Publishing) is a best-seller in Germany and was also published in China. Impressively, the German Ministry of Defense purchased 10,000 copies of Jay's book for distribution to their armed forces. His current work, AI and Modern Warfare (Econ Publishing) examines battlefield experience with AI in the Ukraine War and its impact on the balance of power.

Jay Tuck is also an internationally acclaimed speaker on artificial intelligence. He is hired regularly by private banks and financial institutions along with bookings for media and medical events, law enforcement and armed forces, such as the Officers Academy of the German Army in Hamburg or the World Bank. As a seasoned speaker, Jay was previously invited to deliver the TED Talk "Artificial Intelligence: It Will Kill Us", an insightful speech on artificial intelligence that reached more than five million views on the internet.
