Sir Jason Kenny and Dame Laura Kenny are record-breaking British cycling speakers, Olympic champions and inspirational keynote speakers, renowned for their extraordinary success on the track and their lasting impact on British sport. Together, Jason and Laura have won 15 Olympic medals, including 12 Olympic gold medals, making them the most successful married Olympic couple in history. As speakers, they offer a rare joint perspective on elite performance, pressure, resilience, teamwork and the mindset required to succeed at the highest level. Jason is celebrated as Britain’s most successful Olympian, while Laura is recognised as Britain’s most successful female Olympian, creating a powerful and memorable keynote partnership.
Jason’s journey into cycling began at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester, where a family track session introduced him to the sport that would shape his life. A talented young sportsman, Jason had previously shown promise in football, cricket and tennis, yet it was track cycling where his focus and competitive instincts truly developed. He progressed rapidly through junior racing, winning world titles and earning selection for Great Britain at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games while still in the early stages of his senior career. Laura’s path was equally remarkable. Born prematurely and later diagnosed with asthma, Laura was encouraged to take up sport to help manage her breathing. After joining Welwyn Wheelers as a child, she developed into one of Britain’s most exciting endurance cyclists, building success across junior track, road and international competitions before becoming a central figure in the British Olympic Cycling Team.
Across their careers, Jason and Laura built a record that places them among the greatest cyclists in Olympic history. Jason won seven Olympic gold medals and two Olympic silver medals, with victories in the team sprint, individual sprint and keirin across Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. His Tokyo keirin triumph made him the British Olympian with the most gold medals and most medals overall, and he was later appointed Knight Bachelor for services to cycling. Laura won five Olympic gold medals and one Olympic silver medal, becoming the first British woman to win five Olympic golds and the most successful female cyclist in Olympic history. She also claimed seven World Championship titles, 14 European Championship titles, two Commonwealth Games titles and a national road race title, before being appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Since retiring, Jason has taken on the role of men’s podium sprint coach with British Cycling, while Laura has continued to influence sport through broadcasting, advocacy and her role as President of Commonwealth Games England.
Now available as keynote speakers, Jason and Laura bring warmth, honesty and authority to corporate events, leadership conferences, sporting dinners and wellbeing programmes. Their joint keynote explores how to build confidence under pressure, maintain motivation after success, recover from setbacks and create the conditions for consistent performance. They can also speak powerfully about family, identity, life after elite sport and the realities behind Olympic success. Their story is engaging because it is rooted in world-class achievement and human experience, from Olympic finals and career-defining victories to parenthood, retirement and reinvention. For organisations looking to inspire ambition, resilience and stronger team culture, Jason and Laura Kenny deliver an unforgettable message on what it takes to perform when it matters most.
