Jason Jay is an industry-leading sustainability specialist, best known for becoming the Senior Lecturer and Director of the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative. After graduating with an M.Ed. from Harvard University, Jason began his professional career by becoming a consultant for Dialogos in 2003. Continuing to develop his education by completing a PhD, in Organisational studies at MIT Sloan School of Management, he was quickly selected to become a lecturer at the university. Working his way up to become the Senior Lecturer and Director of the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative, Jason is now responsible for teaching strategy, innovation and leadership for sustainable business at the master and executive levels.

Alongside his remarkable educational career, Jason has worked as an advisor and board member for numerous organisations throughout his career, including for FaunaPhotonics, Brock USA, and Social Innovation + Change Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School as an Affiliate Faculty Member. In 2023, he was proudly selected to become a strategic advisor for Climate Scale-Up and TransCap Initiative. With his specialist knowledge covering areas such as sustainable finance, climate and sustainability strategy for investors and companies, Jason has become a must-see sustainability speaker over recent years.
