Haslinda Amin is a senior anchor and editor-at-large for Bloomberg TV in Singapore. Haslinda has been working with Bloomberg for over 20 years and has reported live from some of the most famous global events, including major political developments in India, Pakistan, Indonesia and the Philippines. During the 2010's, Haslinda also covered anti-government clashes in Thailand and Barack Obama's first presidential visit to Asia. That same year, Haslinda progressed to Chief International Correspondent for South East Asia. In 2024, Haslinda became the leading host for two of Bloomberg's flagship programmes, 'Momentum', where she covers Asia's business, politics, art, culture and sports current affairs, and 'Latitude', which focuses on innovation and new developments in Asia. Haslinda is also the anchor of 'Insight with Haslinda Amin', an hour-long program giving in-depth analysis and context for major stories in Asia.
As a leading figure in the broadcasting industry, Haslinda has been recognised by industry boards and awards. She has been a nominee for both the Best Talk Show and Best Current Affairs Anchor at the 2015 Asia TV Awards. In 2017, she was a finalist at the New York Festivals International TV & Film for Best Interview. Haslinda won the National Current Affairs award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2024. Since 2016, Haslinda has served as Vice President of United Women Singapore, helping advance mandatory rest days for foreign domestic workers and supporting the National Plan of Action against Trafficking in Persons.
