Eniola Aluko

Eniola Aluko is a talented former professional footballer, who thrived with Serie A club, Juventus. An award-winning forward who has played for a variety of top-flight teams, including Chelsea and Birmingham City, Eniola has amassed a wide range of skills and expertise that she instils in her audiences as an after dinner speaker. Having scored 33 goals for England, Eniola is an expert on high-performance teams, making her the ideal sports speaker for your event.

An icon of female football, Eniola played in the first FA Women’s Cup Final. Held at Wembley Stadium in 2015, the match drew a record number of fans at 30,721. Eniola shone at the historic event, giving a Player of the Match standard performance in Chelsea’s victory against Notts County. She also managed to earn herself a place in the 2012 London Olympic Games first-ever official fixture, and secured a qualifying slot for Great Britain in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. An almost 20-year long career has seen Eniola join the likes of Saint Louis Athletica, Sky Blue FC and Charlton Athletic. Having been capped by England an astonishing 102 times throughout her 12 years international career, Eniola after dinner anecdotes leave football fans star struck. Now a popular commentator, she has discussed some of football’s major events, including the 2018 Russia FIFA World Cup and the 2019 France FIFA Women’s World Cup, as well as becoming the first female pundit on BBC’s Match of the Day. In 2022, Eniola also starred as part of the first all-female World Cup panel on ITV, alongside Karen Carney and Seema Jaswal.

Named the 2016 FA WSL Top Scorer, Chelsea Ladies Player of the Year in 2014-15 and PFA WSL Team of the Year on two separate occasions, it’s evident that Eniola has made her mark on football. Now venturing onto the after-dinner speaking circuit, she offers her incredible amount of tips on effective leadership, teamwork and achieving peak performance to a variety of corporate, school and sporting organisations. Having experienced first hand the damaging effects of racist remarks, she uses her platform as a contributor to Yin & Yang, a cultural website, and a diversity speaker, to promote understanding and acceptance.
