Professor Jan Rosenow is an internationally recognised authority on energy and climate policy, serving as Professor of Energy and Climate Policy at the University of Oxford, where he leads the Energy Programme at the Environmental Change Institute. He is also a Jackson Senior Research Fellow at Oriel College, Oxford. Widely regarded as a thought leader on decarbonisation, energy efficiency and electrification, Jan was named the most-read thought leader on the energy transition in 2024.
Alongside his academic work, Jan holds several influential advisory positions.
