Danny Jones

Danny Jones first rose to fame as one of the lead vocalists and lead guitarist of McFly, the iconic British pop-rock band that burst onto the scene in 2004. With chart-topping hits like 'That Girl', 'Obviously', and 'All About You', McFly quickly became one of the UK’s best-loved bands. Their fresh sound and energetic performances earned them a BRIT Award for Best Pop Act, and they became the youngest band to debut at number one on the UK Albums Chart with their debut album, Room on the 3rd Floor. Danny’s role in McFly was more than just performing; he co-wrote all of the band’s studio albums and helped shape their distinct sound. In 2013, McFly joined forces with Busted to form the supergroup McBusted, selling out arenas and reigniting the excitement of a generation of pop-rock fans.

Beyond his work with McFly, Danny has carved out an impressive career as a solo artist, music producer, and DJ. In 2018, he released his debut solo single 'Is This Still Love', followed by his first solo EP in 2019. As a DJ, Danny is known for his high-energy sets, remixing McFly tracks such as 'Party Girl' and 'Nowhere Left to Run', alongside popular hits like his reimagining of Rihanna’s 'We Found Love'. His DJ sets have made him a sought-after name at private events, festivals, and corporate functions throughout the UK. Danny’s skills as a producer have also seen him collaborate with global acts, including One Direction, co-writing 'Don’t Forget Where You Belong' from their Midnight Memories album and producing bonus tracks for their releases.

Danny has also become a familiar and much-loved face on television. He was a coach on The Voice Kids UK from 2017 to 2023, where he mentored young singers and led his team to victory in 2019. In 2024, he joined The Voice UK as a duo coach alongside bandmate Tom Fletcher, with their team winning their debut series. Danny’s television presence extends to reality competitions, having won both The Masked Singer UK (2024) as “Piranha” and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! (2024), where he was crowned King of the Jungle. His down-to-earth charm and authenticity have made him a favourite with audiences, both on stage and on screen.

In 2018. Danny has been open about his struggles with anxiety, sharing his experience of having therapy since the age of 19 after suffering a panic attack on live television. Despite personal challenges, Danny continues to be a leading figure in British entertainment.
