Chris joined the British Army at sixteen. Chris’ bravery and loyal service led to him being awarded the Queen’s Gallantry Medal. The final role Chris held in the military was as a senior intelligence analyst for the Ministry of Defence. After retiring from the army, Chris has gone onto work as a motivational speaker, writer, broadcaster and a counter-terrorism consultant. He has also published his memoirs, ‘Eight Lives Down’ which look back on his time in Iraq and the operations he went on.
