Arit Anderson is an acclaimed garden designer, television presenter and writer, best known for her work presenting BBC programmes alongside Charlie Dimmock and The Rich Brothers. After pursuing a pharmacy technician career, Arit then worked in the fashion industry for 25 years. In 2010, she moved out of North London into a home with a garden, and later began a course in garden design at Capel Manor College while continuing to work for a retail consultancy.
Earning a reputation as a talented garden designer, Arit has designed various gardens displayed at the Chelsea Flower Show. In 2013, Arit's talents were recognised with the RHS Fresh Talent Award at the Chelsea Flower Show. Three years later, in 2016, Arit won the Gold Medal of the RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival, awarded for a conceptual garden with climate change and renewable energy themes. In 2019, Arit began work as the Presenter of Garden Rescue, which she presented alongside the famed Charlie Dimmock, and The Rich Brothers.
Arit has also been a Presenter of Gardeners World for the BBC, and most recently, in 2021, Arit designed a garden at the Chelsea Flower Show titled The BBC One Show and RHS Garden of Hope. Today, Arit is highly sought after to share her gardening expertise at events across the country, sharing her attention to detail and passion for gardening at each event she attends.
