Andrew Pike CBE

Andrew Pike CBE is a highly accomplished senior professional in Communications, Public Affairs, Political Advisory and the Founder of Andrew Pike Advisory Ltd. His career is defined by key appointments across the UK Government, Diplomacy, and Intelligence, leading to his award as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to the sector. He is best known for his critical intelligence and national security roles, having served as Director of National Security Communications for the Prime Minister’s Office and as the first ever Director of Communications and Engagement for GCHQ, managing highly sensitive communications strategies for the UK government's intelligence agencies.

His early career established a foundation in high-level public relations and diplomatic engagement. He held a senior management position as Head of Communications for England at the BBC following a storied career in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). He served as Her Majesty’s Consul at the British Consulate General in New York, where he managed complex geopolitical messaging, specifically leading on the Northern Ireland Peace Process in North America. In that guise, he was the main link and advocate on the Hill, State Department and National Security Council/White House.
