Alice Kinsella

Alice Kinsella shot onto the gymnastics scene in 2018 at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games winning an individual gold on the balance beam, an individual all-around bronze medal, and the team silver medal. Ever since, Alice had performed on the biggest of stages including at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she was part of the team which achieved a bronze medal. Alice shares the dedication it takes to reach the top level in sports coupled with her love for fashion and hair and makeup when hired as a speaker.

At just four years old Alice loved tumbling around and her aptitude for the sport was noted by a coach whilst she was watching her sister during her gymnastics lesson. Her love for the sport continued to grow and the rest, they say, is history. Alice was always remarkably talented as a gymnast, having been a British and English national finalist every year since she was just 9 years old. Making her senior debut in 2017, it would not be until 2018 that Alice gained worldwide recognition after being selected to be part of the English team for the Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Since bursting onto the scene, Alice has gone on to win countless medals with some of her highlights including winning gold at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games for the Floor Exercise and Team events, a Team gold at the 2023 European Championships, Silver in the team event at the 2022 World Championships and Team Bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. This bronze medal at the 2020 Olympics was Team GB’s first women’s team medal in 1928, of which, Alice was the captain. In 2023 Alice won gold in the British Championships and was part of the gold medal-winning team which compete at the 2023 European Championships.  

Alice has firmly cemented her name in British gymnastics history and has become one of the most important British gymnasts of her generation. Alice is now also dedicating a large portion of her time to the academy she founded, AK Gymnastics Academy which she created to inspire the next generation of athletes.
