His career includes long stints at senior-level positions for the likes of Coca Cola, GE Appliances and Essar Group. Adil has multiple degrees, completing both a Bachelor’s in law and a Bachelor’s degree in commerce at The University of Mumbai. In his role as the Chief Executive of 'The Firm' (Firdose Robina & Malia LLP) a leading business management consulting group in Mumbai. Adil focuses on a handful of key areas; strategic human resources, change transformation, leadership coaching, talent management, and employer branding. He has lead teams across various industries including FMCG, Infrastructure, and Retail. Adil has also worked across a wide range of functions from HR, Marketing, Law and Business Management. Adil has a Masters degree in Personal Management, Industry Relations, Organization Development from the Tata Institute of Social Science, he then completed a PHD in Philosophy from the Chitkara University, not content Adil then completed the Advanced Management Programme at The Wharton School - building a seriously strong stack of credentials to go alongside his extensive experience.
While he started his early career in legal practice, Adil developed his reputation while he was General Manager at Human Resources practice for GE Appliances in India - he helped the company as it changed its business structure completing a 360 degree turnaround. He then became Group General Manager at Al Futtaim spearheading the Human Resource and Marketing functions across the Pan Gulf region. He then spent 8 years as Director of HR Operations at the Coca Cola Company for the entire South West of Asia he was instrumental in the growth of organisation in the region he developed relationships with over 40 bottling partners as the company sought to tidy up operations .
Adil spent 11 years at Essar Group heading Global People Management overseeing a workforce with over 70,000 people, successfully managed structural changes as the company grew to be worth over $40 billion contributing to the GDP of India in a major way. Part of Adil's role involved talent management interventions a strategic and valuable part of people management. Adil is a prolific and powerful speaker, for corporate conferences and events he has decades of experience and top-notch credentials.
