Jamie is a professional snooker player and in 2011 reached the semi-final of the Masters and was destined for great things, however in 2012 he developed a rare tremor, known as an ‘essential tremor’ or the ‘yips’, which makes his cue arm shake. This saw him drop out of the world 64 in 2014. Jamie has had a really positive 12 months and is as confident as he ever has been about his game.
He is back on the main tour and in September 2015 beat former world champion Neil Robertson in the second round of The Shanghai Masters, but unfortunately lost to another former world champion Mark William in a very tight match.
Jamie is a great example of never giving up on the dream and has a very bright future. Ideal for schools, events, columnist & blogger.
