Yanis Varoufakis is renowned for his tenure as the former Greek Minister of Finance, a role he served in 2015, marking substantial impact in the Greek political landscape. In 2016, Yanis became the Co-Founder of the left-wing pan-European political party, the Democracy in Europe Movement 2025 - with whom he continues his work today as the Secretary-General. He was also re-elected to the Hellenic Parliament in 2019, representing the Thessaloniki A constituency as a MeRA25 MP. In addition to his political commitments, Yanis has also shared his expertise in a variety of books and publications. Yanis' most recent book was titled Technofuedalism: What Killed Capitalism, also renowned for authoring titles such as Adults in the Room, Talking to My Daughter and The Global Minotaur.
