A year after graduating, he started working for P&E Ferries as their Database Marketing Executive, following by a managerial role. In 2007, he moved to Expedia, where he continued to strengthen his understanding of database marketing.
Vishal excelled in managerial positions, due to his instinctual understanding of human connection. In 2012, he spent nearly five years with Mr Porter, as their Customer Retention Manager and Senior Manager. While with the company, he was responsible for retaining customers and providing quality brand engagement. As the Group Head of Customer Engagement at Soho House & Co, Vishal was in charge of the customer strategy, customer experience and consumer behaviour. An expert decision-maker, he drastically improved the business' process, communication and analysis.
In 2017, Vishal moved to Farfetch. As their Customer Strategist, he built a foundation of consumer understanding upon which the company could build a fool-proof strategy of success. Taking influence from retail insights, he worked with several teams to hone the retail experience. After two years with Farfetch, Vishal was promoted to Head of Customer Strategy and Engagement, a testament to his business-defining knowledge.
