Professional footballer, player manager, and television commentator, Tony Cottee has a list of impressive credentials to his name. After a brief return to his original team, West Ham, Cottee transferred to Selangor in Malaysia where he won the FAM Cup. Finishing his career on a high with Leicester City, Cottee had achieved 293 goals in all 712 professional games he had played.
Throughout his impressive playing career, Tony Cottee also represented England, obtaining a total of seven caps for the senior squad and eight for the under 21s. After retiring from the game in 2000, Cottee turned his hand to managing and took on the position of player-manager at Barnet. Since his days on the field and sidelines finished, Cottee has had further success as a commentator. Regularly reporting for Sky Sports and providing detailed analysis of the game. During the 2010 World Cup, Cottee also provided punditry for the Malaysian network, Astro, and continues to do so for the Premier League.
