Steven Arnold is a British actor known for his long running role as Ashley Peacock on ITV’s popular soap Coronation Street who he played for fifteen years. Nominated for most popular actor on multiple occasions Steven Arnold has also established a prolific film career within the British film industry, his credits include the BAFTA award winning A Boy’s Story, and the short film Growing Pains. He often makes TV appearances on shows for ITV and Granada Television and has been cast as an actor in various BBC series including the CBBC show Justin’s House.
Outside film and TV appearances Arnold has also demonstrated his ability to perform live, he has appeared on theatre stages across the UK in numerous roles ranging from drama to comedy and pantomime. Arnold is often highly praised for his acting talents, the diversity and professionalism of his skills are impressive and have gained him notoriety amongst his fellow actors. Though he has had many high points in his career Arnold cites his call to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester before Her Majesty the Queen as one of his proudest moments.
