Stephen Bailey is a comedian, presenter, actor and writer. Although known for his work as a Presenter on Live at the Apollo, Stephen’s credentials do not end here. Since rising to fame, Stephen has appeared on a multitude of celebrity game shows and reality television shows. Including Unbreakable, Would I Lie to You, Richard Osman’s House of Games, Celebrity Weakest Link, Celebrity Mastermind, to name a few.
During quarantine, Stephen wrote and starred in the lock down mini-series, House Olympics. He also hosted UK Radio Pride during the pandemic and was broadcast over multiple stations. Stephen’s Radio career continued, with him having guest hosted many shows such as Sunday Takeover on Virgin Radio, The Jason Manford Show on Absolute Radio, and featured on The Art’s Show with Jonathan Ross on BBC Radio 2.
In more recent years, Stephen has recorded BBC’s new stand-up show, Live from Barry Island, and his debut Radio 4 stand-up special, Stephen Bailey: One of Many. Stephen is also the Co-host of the podcast, Let’s Talk About the Husband, with fellow comedian Zoe Lyons. The pair recently hosted the British Podcast Awards together. Continuing his career as an actor, Stephen has also joined the cast of The Madame Blanc Mysteries playing John Marsden.
