From there, he established Simon J Lycett LTD, where he built a dedicated team of florists to help him deliver stunning arrangements for clients. In 1994, he designed the flowers for the hit film 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', helping to establish his reputation as a trusted and sought-after florist. A few years later, Simon was the creative force behind David and Victoria Beckham's fairy tale wedding décor in Ireland. Simon is also frequently called upon by the British Royal Family to create the floral designs for their events and is one of the only two cross-palace suppliers for The Historic Royal Palaces. He decorated the Royal Box at the Royal Opera House and a private dinner at The Ritz for the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II in 2006, decorated Windsor Castle for the 70th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 2017 and created a one-tonne floral tribute to Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2022.
