With over 15 years of experience in the field of consumer PR, Simon has earned a reputation for telling stories that matter and “move the dial”. Back in 2005, Simon began his career working as a Broadcast Journalist for Time FM. Reporting from the field conducting interviews and audio broadcasts, Simon later became a Broadcast Journalist for Essex FM. In 2007, Simon was appointed as the Press and PR Officer of Hertfordshire Constabulary, working on the media desk and providing national and local media queries on high-profile criminal cases. Developing PR campaigns to support projects relating to the reduction of crime, Simon was later promoted to Senior Press and PR Officer for Hertfordshire Constabulary, before being appointed as the PR Manager of Royal Mail.

Other prominent roles of Simon’s have included being the Senior PR Campaigns Manager for Royal Mail and the Senior PR Manager of British Gas. In these roles, Simon was responsible for handling media enquiries, implementing national and local PR campaigns, managing social media presence, acting as an official spokesperson and delivering nationwide school engagement PR programmes. Today, along with his revolutionary coaching, Simon is an ESG and DEI Communications Lead for Virgin Media O2, responsible for consumer and corporate PR – delivering first-class creative consumer campaigns across various channels. Along the course of his highly successful career, Simon has also gallantly faced adversity in the form of being diagnosed with and surviving cancer on three occasions. Despite such adversity, Simon has made it his mission to remain a hugely positive person, believing in the power of dreams and never giving up.
