Shaun Flores' official speaking topics are listed below:
Reframing Privilege: Challenging the Narratives That Divide Us:
This talk breaks out of the echo chamber that often surrounds discussions of privilege. It challenges conventional wisdom by examining privilege through social justice and conservative lenses and incorporating insights from The Unfair Advantage and Malcolm Gladwell’s David and Goliath. It encourages audiences to rethink their views on power and opportunity.
Beneath the Surface: Unmasking the Hidden Realities of Anxiety and Depression:
In a world that never stops, anxiety and depression often thrive unseen. This talk goes beyond clichés, offering a raw, authentic exploration of what it means to live with these conditions. I share my experiences, discuss modern life's paradoxes, and offer unconventional strategies for managing mental health.
A Hunter in a Farmer’s World: The ADHD Story by Shaun Flores:
This talk delves into the evolutionary theory behind ADHD, exploring how traits once essential for survival are now seen as disadvantages in a structured world. I challenge common misconceptions, discuss the impact of modern technology on ADHD, and highlight how ADHD can be harnessed as a superpower.
Redemption Culture, Not Cancel Culture: Calling People In, Not Calling Them Out:
In an era of deep divisions, this talk advocates for a shift from cancel culture to a culture of redemption. By exploring the dangers of thought policing and the power of open dialogue, I encourage audiences to move beyond calling people out and towards calling them in, fostering a more inclusive and understanding society.

"Shaun was absolutely amazing, his energy, passion, and honesty resonated so well with our colleagues. He tackled various subjects including Black Inclusion Week, mental health, disability, and race, whilst channeling the themes we’d proposed throughout. Shaun included the audience well and created probably the most engaging session with an external speaker we’ve had in recent times. We’d recommend Shaun to any business/organisation that is looking for a public speaker for their next event, and we hope to see him again in the near future." - Josh, N Brown
"I lead I&D at Xplor Technologies and wanted to thank you for your inspiring message you delivered to our Xplorers in October. The I&D Council hosted a number of events as part of Diversity Awareness month and your panel session was one of the most popular events." - The I&D Council
"I was blessed to be able to sit in an assembly room full of our boys speaking publicly about their perceptions of their body image and masculinity as a consequence of Shaun's openness to discuss his own journey as a man. Each of the sessions that Shaun delivered was guided by our boys, he spoke to them about what they wanted to speak to him about and I strongly believe this was part of the reason for the success of the day - Shaun understands others and certainly understood our boys. Shaun went above and beyond on his day with us at Ferndown. And I am so excited that this is only the beginning of the work that we are going to go on to do together - he really does make a great impact on those who are lucky enough to hear him speak." - Oli, Assistant Headteacher, Ferndown Upper School
