Sarra Elgan

Sarra Elgan is one of the most recognisable faces in Welsh sports broadcasting. A dynamic and versatile presenter, she has fronted high-profile rugby coverage for leading platforms including TNT Sports, S4C, BBC Sport, Sky Sports, ESPN and Amazon Prime Video. Known for her natural warmth, polished delivery and deep understanding of the game, Sarra is a highly sought-after event host and speaker. Sarra’s first television appearance was in the long-running Welsh-language soap ‘Pobol y Cwm’, followed by a presenting role on the S4C children’s show ‘Planed Plant’. She soon became a familiar face on CBBC, bringing energy and bilingual charm to young audiences. Alongside her early screen work, she also performed in the Welsh-language pop group Cic. Her passion for sport and communication led to her breakthrough in sports media in 2007, when she became a pitchside rugby reporter for S4C, stepping into the role following the death of Ray Gravell.
