Ruben Stanislaus

Ruben Stanislaus is a burgeoning talent in the motorsport world. Establishing himself as ‘the one to look out for’ his racing skills are evident to anyone who has seen him drive the Praga R1 in the Zeo Prototype Series. As a young driver hailing from a Grenadian descent, Ruben often speaks on the importance of representation and diversity & inclusion in the sport.

Ruben is best known for his role in the award-winning BBC One documentary ‘Born to Race’. The documentary follows Ruben’s journey – from racing from merely 4 years old, to finally securing a spot in a professional car. An economically challenging affair, Ruben had to beat all odds, including the blatant lack of diversity in motorsports, to make it where he is today. Born to Race was shortlisted for Documentary of the Year at the Broadcast Sports Awards in 2023.

Ruben has had the opportunity to interview and learn from Sir Lewis Hamilton, a 7-time Formula One Champion. Like him, Ruben too uses his platform to champion racial diversity and inclusion in the motorsports. Whilst his journey has not been without challenges, Ruben is determined to achieve all his racing goals, displaying the importance of a high-performance mindset. Each time Ruben has appeared on platforms such as BBC Breakfast or BBC Radio 5 Live, his determination for excellence is evident.

Winner of NRG’s Inaugural Sim Event in 2021, Ruben was invited to speak on the SimRacing HQ podcast. He was also featured in the "Great British Racing Drivers" book which spotlights iconic drivers who have changed the landscape of British motorsport.
