Wild pursuits and seemingly impossible challenges have taken Rob from rallying through the Sahara desert to trekking the arctic. Experiencing every environment the world has to offer, Rob has developed mental and physical resilience beyond belief, with many of his challenges being equally emotionally straining as they are on his body. In 2015 his adventurous spirit caught the attention of the Travel Channel who produced a series staring Rob, called Man vs World. The show followed Rob in a series of point to point daily challenges where he used over twenty-five modes of transport via land, sea, and air, but without a single engine involved.
One of just fifty people, at the time, Rob completed the 777 challenge, 7 continents 7 marathons, 7 days in 2015. All in aid of charity, Rob and his six friends raised over £100,000 and the momentous achievement was captured by the Travel Channel. Both the charities fundraised for, offer support to families with disabled children, be it with equipment or after school sports activities. Rob is also hugely passionate about supporting schools, especially with raising the profile of STEM subjects.
Continually achieving ‘impossible’ stunts got Rob noticed by a number of TV outlets. Known for his ability to transform complex topics into engaging content for viewers, as he did with ‘London 200 Years of History’ makes Rob a fantastic presenter. As a qualified engineer, gaining his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, Rob has expertly hosted programmes such as: ‘Engineering Disasters: When Buildings Collapse’, ‘The Science of D-Day’ and ‘Rob Bell’s Engineering Enigmas’.
