In 2018 he debuted his new show ‘We Need The Eggs’ which received five-star reviews in the media and his absurdly eccentric comedy style got him noticed as one to watch. Additionally, Richard has performed at prestigious venues across the country including the Covent Garden Comedy Club, Just The Tonic and Lattitude Festival. A refreshing talent on the comedy circuit, Richard has garnered much attention and praise for his routines. From winning the prestigious Amused Moose Laugh-Off in 2012 to being awarded the Best Show by the Shaftesbury Fringe in 2017, it’s no surprise Richard was named as Chortle’s One to Watch for 2018.
As a writer, Richard was commissioned by Channel Four to write a short film titled ‘Spatula Head’, which was animated for the channel’s Random Acts program. Impressively, the film went on to win the Best Animation at the RoyalTelevision Society Northeast & Border, as well as being shown at the Lonon International Film Festival. Not limited to quick wit and one-liners, Richard is an award-winning illustrator, a talent which he has used to facilitate art workshops for vulnerable adults.
